Easy Beef Sandwitched

1 lage onion, sliced

1 boneless beef bottom round roast (about 3 to 5 pounds) Note: any cheep beef cut works as well

1 cup of water

1 evenlope (1 once) au jus gravy mix

French bread, sliced lenghtwise

Procolone cheese (optional)

1. Place onion slices in bottome of Crock-pot/slow cooker; top with roast. Combine water and gravy mix in a small bowl; pour over roast. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 9 hours.

2. Shred meat using two forks. Serve on French bread, toped with chesse, if desired. (I toast under grill for 15 mins). Serve cooking liquid on the side for dipping.

Makes 6 to 8 servings
